Late Pick 5
Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion.
Race 4 SELECTIONS: 6 – 3
#6 Steeze is returning to the dirt surface where he has run his best times. #3 Plum Perfect is a four-year-old daughter of American Pharoah making only her second start. On debut she ran well before tiring, gets red hot Jockey Tyler Gaffalione in the irons.
Race 5 SELECTIONS: 6 – 3 – 5
#6 No Time to Wait has been very consistent since returning from her freshening and getting onto the synthetic surface. #3 White Claw Woman is returning to the route distance that she tried for the first time last time and fared well, only beaten by two and a half links now gets top jock Irad Ortiz in the saddle. #5 Princess Irene Is running second off the layoff for strong connections and should improve.
Race 6 SELECTIONS: 5 – 7
#5 Hot Lead is running 3rd off the layoff for strong connections and is dropping in class and has strong turf pedigree. #7 Replevin drops into the maiden claiming ranks and could be competitive if the pace is fast up front.
Race 7 SELECTIONS: 5 – 7
#5 Fulanito has the early pace advantage running second off the layoff and is dropping in class. #7 King Julien is making his first start for new trainer Bobby Dibona and should improve second off the layoff at the five furlong distance versus the five and a half furlong distance.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 6 – 5
#6 Rockies Balboa has excellent early speed and is dropping in class. #5 Project Pat is a well bred Colt making his first start for strong connections.
