Gulfstream Park – Late Pick 5 Sequence – Sunday (March 08, 2026) – John Pinder

Late Pick 5 Sequence

Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion.  To be more judicious with our bankroll in 2026, I will be taking a more targeted approach in Pick 5 selections and include some win bets and doubles when the opportunities arise.

Race 8 SELECTIONS:   2

#2 Bad Gal Party will be our single in the sequence as we start with a very likely winner in a small field after scratches.

Race 9 SELECTIONS:   6 – 1 – 8

#6 Comprehensive has been very competitive in all three career outings, with that experience and talent he is a must include. #1 Fancy Sailor almost got the victory on debut, closing well in a full field of ten.  #8 Pay the Piper had a very similar good debut but broke slowly.

Race 10 SELECTIONS:   6 – 1 – 5

#6 Accelerate Me has good late pace but was unable to utilize it last time out, hoping for better results as he returns to a route of ground.  #1 Sneak Preview is running second off the claim for strong connections and should also benefit from an additional furlong.  #5 King of Hollywood has the opportunity to improve as he gets back to the dirt.

Race 11 SELECTIONS:   5 – 8

#5 Steelin Bases drops in class and will attempt to use his early speed and hold them off.  #8 Eton returns to the barn of Jorge Delgado and is in really good form.

Race 12 SELECTIONS:   8 – 6

#8 Cyclonite will be running second off the layoff for trainer Mark Casse, jockey Dylan Davis will be in the irons.  #6 Boat’s a Rockin will give you his all every time he hits the track, and should be ready running first off the claim for trainer Carlos David.

Today’s pick 5 ticket $.50 base (post scratches) : 2 / 1,6,8  / 1,5,6 / 5,8  / 6,8  cost: $18
