Been waiting on this one to turn up for a while, as she’s been working consistently with several others who have come out of those drills to run well. Worked twice in a row back in early December with ANOTHER WOMAN, who ran second for us @ 15/1 odds behind odds-on favorite PASS THE CHAMPAGNE last Saturday. Following that, she worked 3 out of 4 times with NEWSWORTHY, an older 4yo gelding who ran second for us @ 13/1 odds behind odds-on favorite KURAMATA a couple of weeks ago. Following that, she worked with ANNEX, who had won his debut a couple of weeks earlier ( given out here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/46278663 ) and who of course returned to win the Palm Beach Stakes on last weekend’s FOY undercard. FINAL BELLE is also showing not one but two of those slow 1:04 turf drills that I’ve mentioned is a very good sign with these Mott turf runners. In the most recent of those drills, FINAL BELLE went with SPOTTER’S HILL, who of course ran second for us @ 6/1 odds last Sunday. Just no reason not to expect this filly to run well today.
