1-for-2 on Sunday, with MY SEA COTTAGE winning @ $7.00. The highlight came in the other race though, with PERFECT GRACE running a huge race @ 8/1 odds to finish second behind even-money favorite ANOTHER WOMAN, keying an exacta that paid 16/1

Street Sense filly for Brendan Walsh was actually an honorable mention in the ANOTHER WOMAN debut ( write-up available here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/48080633 ), going off @ 22/1 odds and running a much better race than looks on paper ( replay available here; GIGI B was the #1 horse: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5HiUyR_IlI ). Showed good speed to scoot up the rail into the fast pace (very fast when compared to the rest of the Fountain of Youth card), but simply had nowhere to go as she was boxed in and about to run up on the leader’s heels, causing her to drop back a little. Stuck to her task well and was on even terms with the impressive ANOTHER WOMAN turning for home, but was unable to keep pace after that (I think she might’ve hit the rail immediately before throwing in the towel; tough to tell). Obviously the race was very strong from a time standpoint, and she was flattered when ANOTHER WOMAN returned to run so impressively last weekend (keep this in mind when considering PASS THE CHAMPAGNE’s chances in the Ashland tomorrow). As mentioned in the write-up, GIGI B had worked with the super-talented PREVALENCE (among other winners) heading into that race, and probably worth pointing out that those horses have won going two turns, as GIGI B will be attempting to do that today. For her part, GIGI B has since returned to work a couple of times with older BANKS ISLAND, winner of two straight races (most recently a $75k optional claimer @ Churchill last June). Also note that PREVALENCE rider Tyler Gaffalione strings along here. There doesn’t appear to be much opposing speed in this race, and obviously the fractions will be a lot softer on the stretchout to two turns. Good chance GIGI B assumes command early and never looks back.
