In the Money Media Network announced today that Matt Bernier will team up with their network to offer a revamped version of his Matt Bernier Show, with episodes dropping weekly, starting immediately.
Bernier, 30, is currently a TV pundit for NBC Sports and TVG and is known for his charismatic presence and handicapping acumen.
“The idea of restarting my podcast has been something I’ve been considering for some time now. After chatting with Pete and Jonathon over the past couple of months, partnering with an up-and-coming company like In The Money Media Network seemed like a no-brainer. I’m looking forward to getting back in the saddle and reviving The Matt Bernier Show.”
The new podcast, which will also have a Youtube channel, will offer fans of Bernier a chance to hear his analysis of the previous weekend’s races, as well as his insights into major issues facing the game. He’ll also talk sports and sports betting on the show.

Bernier started the DRF Players’ Podcast with Fornatale when they were both at the Daily Racing Form.. Fornatale and Jonathon Kinchen, who co-hosted the DRF podcast, left DRF last year to form their own podcast network. In their first year as a standalone entity, they increased listenership by over 50 percent. With Bernier in the mix for 2020, those numbers are expected to grow even more.

Bernier is also an accomplished tournament player. He’s among the youngest to ever qualify for the National Horseplayers Championship, has an in-the-money finish at The Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge, and is also a past winner of NYRA’s Aqueduct Challenge. He first came to national attention when he was part of the Horseplayers cast at 23 years of age, a role he parlayed into the job at Daily Racing Form.
