As the tropical temperatures take over Britain, Charlotte Greenway is in for Nick, and joined by Dave Yates of the Daily Mirror to discuss the BHA’s decision to abandon 5 fixtures over the next couple of days, reflect on the racing from the weekend and to look ahead to this weekend’s King George at Ascot.

With regards to the King George, we hear from Barry Mahon, Juddmonte’s racing manager regarding favourite, Westover, and Torquator Tasso’s assistant trainer Julia Romich.

Anthea Leigh, Cartmel’s clerk of the course discusses the measures they have in place to keep the horses cool at this afternoon’s fixture and finally Adrian O’Brien of Hazelwood Bloodstock reflects on the recent Grade 1 victories of two fillies his operation consigned at Tattersalls Book 1.
