Nick Luck Daily Ep 798 – Wet Weather Games

Nick is joined from Glorious Goodwood Day One by award winning Racing Post writer Jonathan Harding to discuss the latest news and events from around the racing world. With a grim weather forecast for the week, Nick opens the batting today with Goodwood clerk Ed Arkell, before enlisting the help of French trainer Jerome Reynier to assess whether his Facteur Cheval may be the mud loving spoiler in Wednesday’s Sussex Stakes. Hugo Palmer drops in to talk about his two pattern race two year olds this week, reaffirms his commitment to Manor House Stables and announces an exciting new arrival to his yard. Meanwhile Jane Mangan brings us the latest from Galway, Stratford Place Stud and Chrysalis records founder Chris Wright is this week’s Weatherbys Bloodstock guest, and Kelly Stevenson – brand ambassador for Chateau d’Esclans joins Neil Phillips to provide refreshment. Also under the microscope today are another round of whip revisions from the BHA in consultation with jockeys, and the return of jumping to Windsor Racecourse.
