Nick Tammaro’s Aqueduct Analysis – Friday, February 5

AQUEDUCT – 2/5/2021

RACE 1: 4-1-5-6

#4 YEROSILVERBIZ is a major pace threat given the speed he showed on debut.  The lack of early zip in this field figures to work to his advantage.

RACE 2: 4-2-6-1

#4 GHOST STALKER drops in class and cuts back in distance while also getting treated with Lasix for the first time.  He should be a late threat on the return to sprinting and this is his best trip.

RACE 3: 2-6-7-1

#2 COOLBOY has spent the majority of his last three starts on the wrong part of the racetrack.  A quicker break can help him return to the frontrunning tactics that made him successful earlier in his career.

RACE 4: 3-6-1A-7

#3 QUEENTIGUA figures to be a late threat with a better ride today, as she was too close to a hot pace in her most recent start.  While she has squandered numerous winning opportunities in the past, she gets on more shot here.

RACE 5: 5-1-6-4

#5 GONE GLIMMERING goes first off a claim by Linda Rice, who is 6 for her last 13 at this meet.  She is also 46% with horses stretching out on dirt first off of claims ($2.57 ROI).

RACE 6: 5-6-1-2

There’s enough to like about #5 LUCKY GIRL to give her the nod, even against two potential short-priced favorites.  This gal cuts back in distance following an inside trip on an outside favoring trip last time out.

RACE 7: 2-8-3-1

This is a reasonable spot for a rebound for #2 RAVEN ROCKS, who was an even 4th last time out with no pace help.  She can be just off the frontrunners here in an ideal spot when the real running starts.

RACE 8: 1-3-4-6

#1 MEBS WEB goes 3rd off a claim for trainer AC Avila and figures to be a major pace threat today.  She has upside given the speed figures she’s earned of late and should be a square price at the windows.

AQUEDUCT STATS: 8-3-3-0  $16.50
