AQUEDUCT – 3/4/22

RACE 1: 2-1-6

#2 LOVE’S MISERY has had 11 opportunities prior, but has worked her way into top form since moving into the care of Rob Atras and to the main track.  She has the speed to stay close on the cutback and meets a woeful field here.

RACE 2: 4-3-1-6

#4 LOHENGRIN TWO is the one to catch for trainer Paul Barrow.  He was dropped down to the 10k level last time out and showed speed before fading late.  That was a tougher 10k event than this is a 12.5k affair and he should be loose on the lead.

RACE 3: 1-4-2-3

The cutback in distance for #1 CALIBOGUE SOUND is what you can rely on here given the favorite and likely frontrunner is dressed up by soft trips.  This filly can sit back and make one run in light with the bug boy on board and figures to offer value at the windows to boot.

RACE 4: 6-4-5-1

#6 CADEAU DE PAIX has had some difficulty winning races, but otherwise looks like a tough customer.  She is a late running type that fires every time and the pace in here should be conducive to a late runner.  Look for her in the lane.

RACE 5: 5-1-2-4

#5 WINTER POOL has a big tactical disadvantage in the face of #1 THREE JOKERS, but should be close enough to make it count late.  He is in good form and exits a solid runner-up finish at this trip for Chad Brown.  He has the look of a Pick 6 single.

RACE 6: 4-1-6-7

#4 SUMMARY JUDGMENT is the one to beat by virtue of a respectable recent start upon being dropped in for 16.  One thing this daughter of Peace and Justice has always possessed is speed and she should be forwardly placed today.  You’ll get a fair price at 2-1 or so.

RACE 7: 3-1-5-2

#3 DEALING JUSTICE has had the misfortune of racing over sealed surfaces in three straight starts.  She is now the main speed on a dry strip and will offer value at the windows given the presence of #1 ELOQUENT SPEAKER.  Daughter of Commissioner will play ‘catch me if you can.’

RACE 8: 8-4-5-7

The scratch of the main speed makes the job a tad tougher for #8 O SHEA CAN U SEE but he is still the interesting horse in this race.  He has had a great amount of difficulty lately being compromised by pace and track profile.  Look for him late at a price.
