RACE 1: 1-4-3
#1 B C GLORY DAYS did everything but win on debut and now looks to be a prohibitive favorite at second asking. He is the controlling speed from the inside, and the main track still somewhat favored inside paths Friday.
RACE 2: 3-6-2/2B
There are many ways to go and #3 BEACH FRONT offers some appeal as an alternative to #6 TAPIZEARANCE as he was shuffled out last time before rallying to round out the trifecta. He’ll get some pace to run at here and figures to offer value.
RACE 3: 4-5-3
#4 RELEASETHETHUNDER was claimed for 12.5k last time out and now returns six weeks later for Mertkan Kantarmaci. This barn is a staggering 32% with dirt sprinters first off of claims at Aqueduct ($3.37 ROI).
RACE 4: 5-6-3
#5 JAKE ROCKS has been on the wrong part of the racetrack in his last two outings and now looms an alternative at a square price for David Donk. His best races are good enough to win today.
RACE 5: 7-6-5
#7 LEMON DROP ROAD got out badly on the turn last time out on debut and looks to improve with a race behind him. Trainer Jimmy Jerkens is 25% with a breakeven ROI with 2nd timers in MSW races on dirt.
RACE 6: 5-7-1/1A
#5 LADDIE LIAM is back off a lengthy layoff following a promising 2YO campaign. It’s hardly encouraging to see him in for a tag, but this son of Golden Lad ran races fast enough as a 2YO to win this thing.
RACE 7: 8-7-3-6
#8 ELOQUENT SPEAKER is new to the barn of Tony Dutrow, who has four wins in 2021 after taking nearly all of 2020 to earn four wins. She is setup perfectly on the outside to stalk and pounce in a race short on speed.
RACE 8: 5-1-7-3
#5 SHANES PRETTY LADY was all over a dull inside last time out and understandably tired late. She is a late threat in this spot, which has plenty of early zip on paper.
RACE 9: 3-2-5-6
#3 OUCH OUCH OUCH drops in class and gets Lasix off of two dull efforts against tougher. He had some things go against him in those spots and is deserving of one more shot at third asking.
