Nick Tammaro’s Aqueduct Analysis – Monday, February 15

AQUEDUCT – 2/15/2021

RACE 1: 1-5-3

#1 SUSPENDED CAMPAIGN likely has the speed to protect the rail, as there has been a pronounced bias on over the last couple of days.  She gets some class relief and Lasix for the first time, which is also encouraging.

RACE 2: 2-5-7

#2 BIG AL’S GAL is the inside speed with the bug boy aboard and figures to be prominent throughout.  She improved at once last time out on the class drop and still has some upside.

RACE 3: 3-4-6

#3 MALIBU ANTHEM battled it out on the front end last time out before tiring late and is now the one to beat facing largely similar foes.  She has a bit more speed than her main rivals, which helps her cause.

RACE 4: 2-5-4-3

#2 PARADE FIELD is a “stranger” in this field as he ships in for new trainer Michelle Giangiulio.  He is a late runner who’ll get a decent setup in here and figures to offer value.  The favorites are very tough to trust.

RACE 5: 4-3-2

#4 HIP NUMBER ONE is the one to catch for trainer Bruce Brown as she exits a game 3rd place finish where she set the pace and grudgingly gave way late.  If she can get the lead and the rail she will be dangerous.

RACE 6: 8-6-1

#8 NOTORIOUS FLIRT is cutting back in distance for trainer Linda Rice and should get a strong pace setup today.  Rice hits at a 22% clip with Aqueduct dirt starters cutting back in distance, good for a breakeven ROI.

RACE 7: 2-5-3-1

#2 BIG ENGINE is a “rail rat” and might find the perfect racetrack for his late run.  The rail has been good for days and he should be moving late into a pace that figures to be solid.

RACE 8: 8-5-7-1

#8 BIG BOY MO ran an improved race last time out on the class drop and figures to be on the move late for trainer Patrick Quick.  He will win if he duplicates his last race, with the only hang-up being the track profile.
