Nick Tammaro’s Aqueduct Late P5 Analysis – Saturday, March 26, 2022

AQUEDUCT – 3/26/22 LATE P5

RACE 6: 9-2-8-7

#9 BRILLIANT BROOKS is interesting off the claim by Horacio DePaz given the strength of his last start.  He has the same pilot board and an ideal outside post from which he can stalk and pounce in a race that should have a strong early pace.

RACE 7: 4-5-7-1

#4 AWESOME INDRA goes first off a claim but enters in fine form.  The weight break with the double bug aboard is helpful, and this mare should be quick enough to get involved from the outset.  Her last race itself would make her tough to handle.

RACE 8: 7-1A-4-5

#7 GIOCARE is a late runner who’ll get a massive setup here given the amount of speed signed on.  They’re going a marathon trip, but that should not keep them from moving right along early given the way this thing shapes up on paper.  If the pace is particularly hot, it will help his cause.

RACE 9: 6-2-3-1

#6 MEXICAN WONDER BOY is the most interesting horse on the back half of the card given that he was close to a bad rail last time out and now cuts back a tad in distance.  This trip should suit him quite well and he figures to be a fair price in a tough field.

RACE 10: 10-6-1A-4

They’ll have to hustle to beat #10 NO SALT, but the value here is in the exotics.  #6 JOYCEE HAS PIZZAZZ is interesting underneath.  While this is a negative trainer change, he has good speed and should be involved early.  Despite the bulky field, there is not a great deal of confirmed zip in here.
