AQUEDUCT 11/17/22

RACE 5: 5-4-2-1

#5 KARA PARA moves back to dirt with one prior try on the main track that was very solid.  She has plenty of room to improve with experience and looks like a safe horse to use in your Pick 6.

RACE 6: 5-1-8-2

#5 PERSONAL BEST stands to benefit from the stretchout in distance given that she’ll now go 11 panels.  She was an ugly loser last time out at Keeneland in a race she should have won and will now be over bet, but the added distance is really supposed to help her chances.

RACE 7: 3-4-6-1

#3 VODKA MARDINI makes his first start for trainer Linda Rice as a new gelding and with lasix.  This son of Bernardini is out of a mare who was a graded stake winner for Linda Rice and this gelding has shown enough ability to get the nod here.

RACE 8: 8-10-6-1A

#8 BATTLE STATION is capable of handling this bunch given the past form and drop in class today.  He has enough tactical speed to stay within range from the start with the only variable being how the turf course plays with the rail at zero.

RACE 9: 7-2-6-9

#7 RIBOT’S VALENTINE gets on a dry surface for just the second time in her brief career and her lone prior try on it was very impressive.  This is the right spot for her today given the pace scenario as she can sit just off of it and get the jump on the deeper closers.

RACE 10: 2-1-4-8

#2 BUSTIN THE RULES is back off a layoff with a fast recent workout for trainer Charlie Baker.  This gelding has run well enough to win this race on multiple occasions and meets a questionable field, even for this level.
