AQUEDUCT 4/15/23

RACE 1: 1-7-8-2

#1 CONMAN faced much better in his last start and had some traffic issues in upper stretch.  With a cleaner trip he’ll be virtually impossible to beat.

RACE 2: 2-5-1-3

#2 LOOMS BOLDLY is dangerous off a win earned when he took advantage of an inside post.  He is capable of sitting just off the pace today and should be a threat in the closing stages.

RACE 3: 3-1-4

#3 BIG EVEREST is the one to catch, and beat, in his comebacker for 2023.  He is quicker off the mark than any runner in this field and should be loose in the opening stages.

RACE 4: 3-8-6-4

#3 BINGO JOHN is first off a claim after racing for a low percentage barn and jockey in recent outings.  He has enough tactical speed to be a player from the outset and should be a square price at the windows.

RACE 5: 10-2-4-9

#10 CARLIN CLAN is dropping in class coming up from Gulfstream and has strong prior turf form.  This is his first start as a new gelding for a barn that has been hitting on all cylinders of late.

RACE 6: 4-3-5-7

#4 CASH NOW is the one to catch for connections that have done wonders off the claim.  Look for him to get control of this race early and never look back.

RACE 7: 3-5-6-2

#3 INFLATIONARY TREND is a firster by 12% debut sire Mendelssohn and is out of dam who produced one turf winner from three to race.  She is training forwardly and figures to be heard from in the closing stages.

RACE 8: 6-4-1-7

#3 NOLO CONTESTO is a late runner who is cutting back in distance and figures to get an enormous pace setup.  He has run some races that are much too good for what he meets today.

RACE 9: 8-6-10-5

#8 DARK DAHLIA is bred to love turf and switches surfaces for Jeremiah Englehart after a positive debut north of the border.  She should have plenty of speed and will be a fair price to boot.
