RACE 5: 5-1/1A-3-6
#5 MOTION TO STRIKE is the one to catch here dropping from a starter allowance event down to the 12.5k level. He is quick enough to get the lead in here and exits a super fast paced affair won in a total meltdown by a deep closer.
RACE 6: 4-1-7-8
Based on the strength of her maiden win going 6 panels, there’s a real chance that #4 CANDLE should have been sprinting all along. She gets a key cutback in distance here off a mile affair where she chased a hot pace and understandably tired late. This looks to suit her quite well.
RACE 7: 4-5-6-7
#4 ALPINE QUEEN gets modest class relief in search of a 5th career win and looks like the main speed on paper. She’s in light with bug boy Jason Huayas astride and that’s enough to give her an extra look at a price.
RACE 8: 6-7-4-1
#6 PREREQUISITE had little go her way on debut and should improve with experience for trainer Chad Brown. She received strong support at the windows on debut got no pace to run at while being stuck much too far off the pace.
RACE 9: 8-10-3-2
#8 BUBBLE ROCK is better suited to sprinting going back to her 2YO season so this looks like an advantageous cutback in distance. Look for her to stalk and pounce in here, especially given the lack of confirmed early speed signed up.
