#3 BUSINESS MODEL should be tough to handle on the big class drop for trainer Brendan Walsh. There’s no doubt this veteran son of Candy Ride will be claimed for 50k and he is a likely winner here with Irad Ortiz, Jr. aboard.
RACE 6: 15-3-6-4
#15 HATCH goes 2nd off a layoff and returns on short notice after racing towards the inside last time out. The surface favored outside moves that day so there’s reason to upgrade this son of Fort Larned, who has held good form of late.
RACE 7: 10-2-6-4
#10 FANCY FELINE figures to get a big pace setup today and should be a square price as well. She elevated her game last time out when 3rd against N1X foes at Aqueduct on the slop, and she’s better suited to a dry strip.
RACE 8: 7-10-13-1
#7 AWESOME NATIVE is the one to beat off a 2nd place finish behind the veteran Listentoyourheart last time out. He has good tactical speed and should be within range from the start this afternoon.
RACE 9: 2-3-5-6
#2 DANSEUR D’ORO narrowly missed last time out for trainer Bill Morey on the slop, running a big race surging up the inside after tracking a hot pace. She is the one to beat here as she appears to be ready to clear the maiden ranks once and for all.
