RACE 6: 3-10-1-4
#3 GUN BOAT has back form that makes her a major threat here, especially with her early speed. Her 2YO form was good enough to make her a contender her speed figure-wise and she’ll be a square price to boot.
RACE 7: 7-8-4-2
#7 FLY RIGHT is back off a layoff for Leah Gyarmati after beginning her career impressively at Saratoga. She has tactical speed and can be within range from the start with one real speed horse in the field.
RACE 8: 7-6-2-1
#7 SHADOW DRAGON is going to get a big pace setup on a massive class drop. He has shown serious ability in the past and the class drop is going to help his chances a great deal.
RACE 9: 8-1-4-5
#4 SILVER KNOTT is back for more after a narrow miss in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf last November. He is a rail-loving British-bred who will appreciate the move to a firmer turf course today. He just needs to stay closer in the opening stages.
RACE 10: 2-9-4-3
#2 BARRY THE BUILDER comes in off a good effort where he moved early in a similar 40k maiden event. He is the main speed today with the rail out, so there’s reason to believe he can wire this bunch.
