Oaklawn Early P4 Analysis- April 17th 2021- By Spencer Luginbul

Race 2
#7 Life of Saturdays: If you listened to my last Redboard Rewind, you know I have a negative stat for Diodoro in maiden races. He is 1-12 at this meet. This filly is dropping in class, so you would hope she could improve even 5 points to get back to her best race on debut in the mud. She has consistently gotten in traffic trouble, so this race I would spread as much as possible in the early pick 4.

A=7-9-5

Race 3
#9 All Shacked Up: This son of Shackleford has had much better races on a dry surface of late and ran very credible for 10K two back. In a wide-open race, I’m looking for a price. He lost as a favorite in the last race, but that also came in the mud, hoping that people looked too much into that race.

Selections 9-7

Race 4
#2 Galilee: This colt is going to need a little bit of pace, and I don’t think he gets it here, but that first start on dirt was just too good. Santana off is usually a bad angle, but you get the hottest rider in the country up, so i’m ok with that. It is scary in start #3 to have him for a tag after paying 500K, and it is only the 2nd start in the new barn.

A=2-1-6

Race 5
#6 Best you Ever Seen: Comes off the claim for a solid claiming barn and ran a monster 82 Beyer at a higher claiming level then is needed to enter here it’s a tricky class move and 7-2 is great value getting the leading jock aboard as well
