Oaklawn Early P4 Analysis- March 19th 2021- By Spencer Luginbuhl

Race 2

#8 Data Storm: This four-year-old gelding showed good speed in his debut against better. He was also 16-1, so I don’t think he was supposed to win on that day either. If he gets that 10 point second-time improvement, he can be very dangerous here, although I wouldn’t take anything sub 2-1 due to the weak trainer stats with second-time starters.

A=8-3

Race 3

#2 Roar Of The Lion: 2-44 is usually not the best stat to put a horse on top, but with his last two races, he seems to be back and on the improvement he had an ok showing last time out over a wet track running third at this level.

A=2-1-7

Race 4

#12 Conquistador Show: I’m going for the new face when it comes to this NW2L where a lot seems to be stuck here. Trainer Jason Barkley is very good with last-out winners 3$ ROI and a 29% strike rate. I’m expecting more improvement from this son of Tizway.

A=12

Race 5

#2 Mighty Mischief: He ran an amazing race the first time out to miss in the mud, and he took money as all Asmussen’s tend to do. The top rider stays, and the barn is very good with second-time starters.

A=2-7

B=1-8
