#1 Choctaw Charlie: This four-year-old filly is going to be happy to be back at Oaklawn as two of her best races have come from there maybe she didn’t like Louisiana Downs last time out. The long layoff will help as I think she will get more mature and she ran very well the first time out.
#6 Exulting: He ran an ok third last time out off the significant drop in class for Sadler. He gets claimed by Asmussen and gets dropped again to the 7.5K, which is not the best. The drop is ok to me because now he faces conditional claimers and holds some excellent back class numbers that make him an open lengths winner in here.
#6 Gun It: This five-year-old has slowly improved over the last couple at the challenging 62 N2X levels. He ran well off the layoff last time against next out winner Hembree. He should get a nice stalking trip and glad to have Santana back aboard.
#7 Oliviaofthedessert: This daughter of Bernadini is on a two-race win streak and now faces a graded stake company for the second time in her career. Only one horse is G2 stake placed, so for me, this is more of a listed stake with 0 graded stake types showing up here. She has recently been lights out on the training track and is a solid 7-2 on the M.L.
#10 OttotheLegend: Looking for a little value in the nightcap. The Beyer was sufficient for the debut, and I love the stretch out being by Uncle Mo. Also, getting the rider change to Arrieta is a positive because he is riding at a high level 22% for the meet.
