Race 2
#1 Sea of Hope: The last two starts at the level have been too good to lose. The jockey trainer combo is a solid 24%, and he has won off a layoff before. It’s also good not to see a drop since the claim after the last race.
A=1-6
Race 3
#3 Gailee: Nice to see the excellent improvement off the drop last time out and even better to see the winner come right back to win. Cabrera has been very good for this barn as they win at a 21% clip and have a fantastic 3$ ROI.
A=3-2-7
Race 4
#2 Bear Oak: Nice winning streak for this son of Giant Oak and now jumps up in class again with Beyer’s that fit the level very well. The big question is if we can get more improvement off a claim from the Mike Maker barn.
A=2-5
B=8
Race 5
#3 Fay Dan: Huge trainer change for this son of Curlin going from Baffert to Mcknight. I’m hoping that the long layoff leads to extra improvement and that the small drop-in class will help that tactical speed we saw last time out.
A=3-5
