Quick reflection from yesterday:
Once again we got ‘O’ so close to hitting the late Pick 4; going into the last race we had Irad on the favorite. He attempts to wire the field and Pete Aiello gives his patented “It’s too close to call!”. In the end, we lose the photo by a neck. – It’s great to get close, but we are not playing hand grenades or horseshoes; hopefully you are gaining some insight and value from the selections. #1 Zonic – Drops in class but his best asset is the ability to close. If the #7 attempts to wire the field – could give this well bred son of Ghostzapper a change. INCLUDE
#2 Starship Apollo – Gritty veteran that should appreciate the distance, but 3 races back this 8 year old was in contention but on his left lead. It could have just been that day, but it gives me just enough pause and concern to Timidly Pass.
#3 Rosas Way – Received a good pace setup last time out. Potential here should the fractions get hot. Long Shot Timid INLCUDE
#4 January Won – was a healthy scratch against stronger level early in the week – should be very competitive in this spot. INCLUDE
