Late Pick 5
Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion. – Let’s make it happen!!!

Race 7 SELECTIONS: 8 – 12 – 9 – 3
#8 Marisa’s Mission faced state bred runners on turf for a higher purse last time out and finished a close fourth, returns to the All-Weather at a level that he should do much better at. #12 Bryce Canyon is dropping in class and has good early speed for trainer James Toner; jockey Jorge Ruiz remains aboard for the third consecutive mount. #9 Prefect has proven he can be competitive at different levels over different surfaces; runs for solid connections. #3 Veloce is a hard trying runner that will be making his first start for his new trainer Fausto Gutierrez; he will need a pace setup to achieve the victory but the potential is there.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 6 – 9 – 1
#6 Arina will be making her U.S. debut for turf wizard trainer Chad Brown; not much that needs to be said 🙂 #9 Keyflower has been away from the races for more than five months but has prior races that make her a contender in this spot; her workout tab indicates she is ready. #1 Miss Delicious competed against graded stakes company last time out and did no running at all, but prior to that she had run consistently well.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 2 – 4 – 10 – 9
#2 Mr Tito’s is a versatile runner that drops in class for trainer Jose Garoffalo; running third off the layoff he should be very competitive. #4 Hercules was claimed at a lower level than today’s contest but this gelding has run races in the past at this level and is a viable include. #10 High Yield Kitten has an affinity for closing late and should appreciate the stretch out in distance, jockey Javier Castellano remains aboard. #9 Hey Porter has become a much better runner since switching surfaces and will look to continue that success for new trainer Carlos Perez.
Race 10 SELECTIONS: 5 – 7
#5 Sassy Nature has great early speed and will look to repeat her winning ways. She won last time out but has earn even higher speed ratings in the past. #7 My Sweet Affair won professionally on debut for trainer George Weaver, stalking and then clearing the field; a move forward off of that performance places her back in the winner’s circle.
Race 11 SELECTIONS: 7 – 11
#7 Stanley House ran against a slow pace in his last attempt at this level and similar distance, that race was his first off a layoff; retains the services of jockey Javier Castellano. #11 Rigel ran well on debut and showed good stamina being on or near the lead finishing a close second.
