Late Pick 5 sequence:
Race 5 SELECTIONS: 3 – 5
#3 Siena Lady will be making her second career start for trainer Jose Pinchin. On debut she ran evenly behind a moderate opening quarter and was making up ground versus a similar class level. #5 Liana B has very good early speed and was able to ration it better last time. Hoping that this time at a half a furlong less that she can hold on and get the victory.
Race 6 SELECTIONS: 4 – 6 – 9
#4 Inhalation is a sprinter that has been tested against tougher and may have found a surface and class level that fits. #6 Lucago will be running first off the claim for trainer Caio Caramori. Runs back at the same level and keeps the services of jockey Jose Morelos. #9 Adios Asher is another first off the claim runner that has good early speed. Trainer Kelley Breen does statistically better than average in the claiming ranks.
Race 7 SELECTIONS: 1 – 2 – 7
# 1 Nota Bene is a good sprinter with the rare ability to close and do it well. There will be a couple of speed and hold on runners in front of her today with should help her chances. # 2 Mac the Pee H Dee earned some good speed figures last year but will be returning from a seven month break; her workout tab indicates that she will be ready. #7 Love and Money are things that we can all use more of, AND happens to be a hard-trying mare that has finished a close second at this level over the past two months.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 1 – 3 – 4
#1 Classic Catch gets the benefit of the rail and is in great form for top connections. #3 Mr. Ripple ran great for eighty percent of his last race. It was his first race off a layoff and the pace was solid, should improve off of that effort. #4 Point Proven has run well in spots of his races but has yet to put it all together. He is very well bred and trained by Todd Pletcher, also reunites with jockey Luis Saez who was aboard when he broke his maiden.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 2 – 3 – 12
#2 Let Freedom Rein speed figures are not the best in this field but if there was a heart rating she would be near the top. Steps up in class to face non winners of two lifetime but retains the services of jockey Luis Saez. #3 Lamasco drops in class today for trainer Fausto Gutierrez. At higher levels she was finishing consistently underneath but always competitive. #12 Demogorgon will be breaking from the outside and will need to exert some speed early to secure a good position, good thing she has that in her tool kit. Running first off the claim for trainer Jose D’Angelo, jockey Jose Ortiz will be in the irons.
Let’s make it happen!!!
