Quick reflection from yesterday:
We missed on one leg of the Pick 4. Our top selection in that race was the post time favorite and opened up to lead by 6 lengths, THEN the strides got shorter and the lead got reduced to a third place finish.

#2 Pagliacci – Mid Pack runner that lacks a good closing kick – Pass.
#3Examiner – Dropping into the claiming ranks after two sub par outings. IF (BIG IF) could turn back form could very well take this field from gate to wire. Long shot – Timid INCLUDE
#4 J P Hellish – Based on trainer changes and distinctly different running styles, this 5 year old is a difficult read. Last time out was third in the form cycle and got beaten late. Timid INCLUDE.
#5 Farley – Consistent 7 year-old who could really use the 1/2 Furlong that the mile race provides; today going 7.5F – This one is like my mother in law; Hard to include, Hard to leave out. Timid Pass.
#6 Espresso Caliente – Pass.
#7 Majestic Luna – Pass.
#8 Outshine – Pass.
#9 Basha – Another late runner that would be better served going longer. Pass.

#2 Well Defined – Won against serval of today’s competitors last time out with a game effort. Timid INCLUDE
#3 Glory of Florida – Mid pack runner that will add to the push up front – lacks the ability to finish well. Timid Pass.
#4 Like You – Will find it difficult to make the front, his most effective style, in a race with so much early speed. Timid Pass
#5 Storm Runner – Trainer and Rider are both off to slower starts overall but they are solid professionals; I believe they could get back to the winner’s circle with this one. INCLUDE
#6 Fort Peck – Getting a back to the one turn mile could help this gelding maintain his early speed, but there are stronger runners who have not shown the propensity to fade. Pass.

#4 Another – Gets Irad in the irons and has show the ability to come running late – those two factors along make this one dangerous. INCLUDE
#5 Derby Champagne – Evenly paced runner that can come running late – not excited about his changes today. Timid Pass.
#6 Gearhead – was down on the inside last time attempting to save ground and came running too late. With a better trip this time he is an INCLUDE
#7 Prince of Arabia – Gets to a distance where here his ability to close effectively could be very valuable. INCLUDE
#8 Twenty Four Seven – Returns to GP after two races at Tampa -has been close and charging at the end of his last two at this level just can’t make a legit case. Timid Pass.
#9 Bow Tie Affair – Figures are a little light. Pass.
#10 Battle of Blenheim – Has ability but has yet to get the job done at this level in his last 4 attempts. Timid Pass.
#11 Lahinch – Always difficult, for me, to envision a turf runner on extreme outside post getting a perfect trip. Could he win, yes, but the odds are against. Timid Pass.
