Saturday Del Mar Recap:
Instead of sticking to One Play readers were fed horses to consider for the Del Mar force pick six payout on Pacific Classic day. Note I went zero for 6 and now am a disappointment in the #ITM blogging world. A couple place finishes did nothing but frustrate myself more. It happens though and onward we go. Back to One Play for today’s card, I apologize for being late to the party, a couple hours until race 9 though so let’s get one home to close the weekend out.
Sunday’s Play:
Race 9 OC 80k / N2X – 1 Mile – 3 YO ^
Field Size: 7
ML Fav: Azul Coast (5-2)
Mike’s Pick: #2 Bold Endeavor (7-2)
One Good Reason to consider.
- Last race went a quick 1st split but under contention from the one horse. On paper it literally looks like the same thing might happen again today with inside speeder Zestful and possibly Order and Law. You have to play trips out in your head, mine is JJ taking Bold Endeavor to the lead and applying breaks a little to finish strong and forgive all the chalky backers the last four races.
If you think a contentious pace will develop then give the only Manhattan Up a look and note Taishan might set a trip.
