Parx Spot Plays
Race 5; #5 B B Bad
- B B Bad is coming into form at the right time for Jamie Ness. I think this horse wants a 1 turn mile to be honest but I think he is still the best in this field. Ness as always is on fire and when Ruben Silvera gets aboard his horses they tend to always do good. This horse is getting better in each start and today could and should be the day he wins.
Race 6: #5 Distractandattack
- Distractandattack should round out my cold double here with B B Bad in the race prior. Kantarmaci and his team have made this horse into a specialist at Parx. They claimed this horse off of Chad Summers in a Maiden 10k and then proceeded to continue this horse’s dominance here at parx. He only has 1 win since off the claim but 4 races where he was in the trifecta all at this level. 3rd off the layoff and this horse should be ready to win back to back with Abner Adorno.
Race 8: #9 Forest Fire
- Forest fire was flying up the rail last time out and just miss timed his run down the stretch. I think that warrants a playback here at 6/1 ML. Jose Gomez has been riding very well at Parx and New York over the past month or two as well. This level should suit this horse and this field also suits his run style a decent bit. I think if Gomez can keep him closer today he can win.
