EARLY PICK 4
Race 1- 1M 70Y OC25k/SAL25k
Picks- 1-6-3
#1 Shoobiedoobydoo should be pressing the leaders early on and is one of two John Servis horses here and they are uncoupled. I think this is the better one of the two and I like the jockey switch from Frankie Pennington to Jamie Rodriguez. I also like the stretch out to 2 turns again. I think she will be tough from the rail.
#6 Borderline Genius is the horse Frankie Pennington chose to ride in here. I can see why he likes his chances better with this filly over others. She has been steadily improving since leaving the John Servis barn and joining the Robert Reid JR. Barn. I think two turns is going to help her as well.
#3 Lady Fox should had won last time out but just missed and I think is in great form. I think the added distance is exactly what she wants and I like Adorno keeping the mount today. I don’t know if she has what it takes to beat my top 2 choices here but she is a good alternative.
Race 2- 6F CLM7500N4L
Picks- 4-5-3
#4 Bozzini should win here if he can improve off his previous start at Laurel. This will be the 2nd start off a small layoff which means he should be more fit today. They also shipped him here for a reason and Ruben Silvera gets the call. Should be tough.
#5 Loverboy Lou is dropping in class today and has been in regressing form but still good enough form to beat this field. I think the drop in class is well needed and the fact Angel Castillo returns today is always a good sign.
#3 The Minit I See U, I don’t think has a shot to win here but I think has a shot to hit the board if you want to play a vertical wager. I like the jockey upgrade to Laprida and I like the closing ability here.
Race 3- 1M 70Y CLM12500N4L
Picks- 2-4-6
#2 Baringer Spring just won last time out for Ten Strike and Juan Carlos Guerrero. Mychel Sanchez gave this horse an amazing trip last time out and I think he is in good enough form to repeat that performance today.
#4 Jamminwithbrandon is in for Jamie Ness and Ruben Silvera today. This horse prefers Parx and finally returns after a stint at Laurel. His last start at Parx was also his last win 4 races ago. Ness dominates at Parx and especially with Ruben Silvera.
#6 Big City Ralph was claimed by Michael Pino last time out and is running for the same level just against a N4L condition. I love the barn switch and this horse is in his best form of his career. Could surprise.
Race 4- 1M MCL25K
Picks -3-6-7
#3 One Two Kid is going out for the 2nd start of his career today for Jamie Ness. He comes to Parx today and gets Ruben Silvera which is a positive. I wouldn’t be surprised if this horse is odds on at the Post time. I think he is going to be super tough here.
#6 He’s a Shooter has been competing in his previous starts but nothing special yet. I think he will be sent early and could go gate to wire. If he gets a lone lead, watch out.
#7 Horse Be With You just missed for the bottom level last time out and now James Noble bumps him back up to 25K. I don’t think he will win but he is a good horse underneath in vertical wagers.
