Race 1: #4 Nico Bree N Teej

  • Nico Bree N Teej is back in at this level in which he beat confidently last time out about a month ago. This horse has been so consistent at this level and distance since May. Luis Rivera knows how to ride this horse to a T and I think that today could be another win. This field is solid but I think this horse has the strongest early pace presence and that should result in a win for this horse today.

Race 4: #7 My Man Elvis

  • My Man Elvis is 2nd time out for the Lou Linder barn and this time Ruben Silvera in the irons. I think Ruben Silvera riding this one is huge even though Frankie Pennington the jockey who rode this horse last time out, I believe is out with Covid or it could just be a jockey switch. However, Ruben Silvera is the leading jockey and he and Lou Linder win often so I am happy with this change even if it wasn’t what they wanted. This horse has a ton of room for improvement in the better barn as well. Should be ready to run today.

Race 6: #7 Instafamous

  • Instafamous should be controlling the early speed today in this race. Mychel Sanchez is riding as good as ever no matter where he goes to ride and Lupe Preciado has been training very well over the last 6 months also. If this horse can get the lead early on, then I think this horse will be able to go gate to wire. This field isn’t too tough and I think going to the lead early will result in this horse opening up down the stretch or having a big enough lead out of the turn that all he has to do is hold on to the finish line.
