Parx Racing 6/6/22

Parx Spot Plays

Race 6: #7 Six O’Clock Sarah

  • Six o’Clock Sarah should get the early lead and if she does, she should be tough in this spot. Ness and Silvera are a proven Jockey/Trainer combination and this filly is getting better in each start. I think she will be tough here.

Race 7: #8 Lake Nakuru

  • Lake Nakuru has the best turf experience in this race and I think the fact the apprentice stays aboard that this horse is live. 2nd off a layoff after returning off a 3 month layoff at Delaware and now up in class and shipping to Parx is an interesting move. I think this horse is ready for a big performance and most of the turf horses entered in these Parx races are not turf horses. Should be a perfect fit.

Race 8: #4 Shero

  • Shero should be one of the pacesetters if not the lone speed. Everton Smith is red hot the past few months and this horse has been running good since the barn switch. I think it is an interesting move to put a new jockey to the circuit in Fabion Jones. However, this new rider might just be the reason we get a decent price here. I think if the rider can just get to the front, Shero might be hard to catch.
