Race 1- 1M CLM7500N1Y
Picks- 7-2-5
#7 Jumpin Jett is in the best form in this field and even off the claim, Ruben Silvera stays aboard. Lake had this horse earlier this year and lost her to Howard Brown Jr. and now she is back in Lake’s barn and with the top jockey. I think she wins two in a row today.
#2 Abaco Dream tried open company last time out and wasn’t good enough. However, she returns to the condition today and she has been running tons better against this group. I think today she could be sneaky if she returns to that form against the weaker bunch.
#5 Lem Me Have It is by far the class of this field. Coming in from NY for a strong barn and getting a top jockey in Adorno here. This will be the lowest she has ran for possibly ever and usually that isn’t a good sign but she could simply just need the class relief. She could be sore and they want to get rid of her but I don’t know.
Race 2- 6F OC16K/SAL16K
Picks- 2-7-4
#2 Start Meee is a newcomer to the Jamie Ness barn via the claim. This horse was claimed back in September and now is running his first race for Ness. This is an unusual claim and put on the shelf move but I think the gelding over the break is also why the horse was on such a layoff. I think today he runs really well.
#7 Angry American is in the best form today. However, I think that last race took a lot out of him as he has to duel the majority of the race and is coming back relatively quick. This field is going to be tough and I think Mychel will have to do a lot in order to win 3 in a row here.
#4 Big Ray should be closing late and seems to like to finish 2nd rather than win. These connections are hitting at about 20% so I like my chances with him underneath.
Race 3- 1M 70y OC16K/SAL16K
Picks- 1-5-7
#1 Ebo Special is back in after winning for Jamie Ness last time out. Today she runs for Richie Vega off the claim. Vega is 25% off the claim and gets his go to jockey in Angel Castillo. I think if she has any form like last time out, then she will be tough here today.
#5 Lean on E drops in class a tad and stretches back out to two turn which she prefers. Luis Ocasio keeps the mount and looks to return to the winners circle like he did in a romp last time going two turns.
#7 Like a Pro tries each time out like a pro. However, usually she is just not fast enough to compete. She could be flying late and if the pace collapses she will be the one I want from way back.
Race 4- 1M CLM 12500N2L
Picks- 8-7-1
#8 Crick is in the best form in this group. She just won last time out breaking her maiden in her 17th start. She is looking to win two in a row today and I like her chances. Adorno finally has made all the changes to her as she has improved since he has teamed up with her.
#7 Yourindenial tries this level again after facing a tough field last time out. She should have an easier time today as this field is not as strong as the prior race. Silvestre Gonzalez returns which is also a plus.
#1 Secret Zar closed late and ran out of room last time out against 12,500 claimers and is now back in for the condition today. I think if the pace is strong early on and Navin can have this horse close, then this horse is the one to beat.
