Race 3: #2 Gushing Oil
- Gushing Oil is coming in from Sam Houston after switching trainers to Jamie Ness. Jamie Ness is about 30% when running horses for the first time under his care. Ruben Silvera is riding this one which is a good sign as he is Jamie Ness’s go to jockey at Parx. This gelding has some ability and should be able to improve in the new location.
Race 6: #3 Lady Brexit
- Lady Brexit is a horse I have taken as a spot play in the past and have yet to see it pay off. However, today she is in a new barn with a new jockey and at a bottom level field. I think today she should be forwardly placed and she could and should improve on the barn switch.
Race 8: #8 Embrace the Whinny
- Embrace the Whinny is shipping in to Parx from MD and is running for Mike Trombetta who had a red hot weekend winning races at multiple tracks including a stake win in Canada. I think this horse is spotted well and gets the red hot apprentice Jerion Barbosa. I think this horse might trip out and I am going to ride the hot hand today.
