Parx Spot Plays

Only taking 3 plays today as it could rain at any moment and cause scratches and different race setups then I intended.

Race 1: #6 Admiral Eastwood

  • Admiral Eastwood should benefit from the 7F distance for Haleem Lee. Haleem Lee has turned this horse around since having him join his barn. He can run in the slop and run on a fast track but either way he will be making one run. If Adorno can keep this horse in the race early, the added distance should only make this horse better. Should be tough to beat in here if the trip is clean.

Race 5: #1 Almashriq

  • Almashriq was claimed from Ellis Park for Penny Pearce today. Abner Adorno is riding this one which I like. This horse was facing tougher in the midwest and Florida and now is coming to a surface he should like. I think Adorno will also break this horse sharp out of the gate and that will be the deciding factor in if he will win or not today.

Race 8: #8 My Boy Tate

  • My Boy Tate is returning to Parx for the first time since May of this year in which he finished a decent 4th in the slop. Today he might get a fast track but there is potentially going to be rain as well today. Kendrick Carmouche is riding this horse today and this horse has proven to run well at Parx with a win here in September of 2020. He is by far the classiest horse in the field and Kendrick has been on fire since returning from injury and looks to get back in the winners’ circle once again today.
