Race 3: #7 Sky Temple
- Sky Temple is in really good form for Jacinto Solis currently. There is two Jamie Ness horses in this field but I think both have peaked recently and are ready to regress in form, but then again it is Jamie Ness so these horses might romp. However, Sky Temple is in good form as well and coming off a nice win with jockey Luis Rivera in the irons. The price will be on Sky Temple and I think in a short field, this could be the horse to play and bring you some money.
Race 9: #1 Breezy Gust
- Breezy Gust dominated at Penn National last time out for Danny Velazquez. Jomar Torres went to ride that one at Penn and earned the mount today after that victory. This field is full of classy local horses but I think with the possibility of Breezy Gust getting an easy early lead, this horse might go gate to wire at a solid price of like 3/1 or 4/1. Just needs the lead and this race may be over.
Race 10: #7 Bellarmine Hall
- Bellarmine Hall was rolling late at Laurel about two weeks ago and just missed down the stretch. Today he faces easier competition and at a track he has done very well at before. I think a jockey like Jose Gomez who has a weight break will also help this horse. He is a very promising apprentice rider right now and riding for trainers like Jamie Ness will help him a long way.
