Parx Spot Plays for Tuesday 7/13/21
Race 4
#6 Shandian has shown the ability to run on the off track and gets the red hot Dexter Haddock aboard today. This horse shows early speed and on off tracks like today this run style is helpful. If he can get a lone lead this race may be over but I like my chances with Dexter Haddock in the irons regardless. Should get an okay price on this horse as well.
Race 7
#6 El Borracho should like the hard surface of Mud at Parx. When Parx has a super wet surface, it gets really hard and I think his ability over a synthetic racetrack out west should translate over here on the mud. This is his first start on an off track and he has decent breeding for it. I think this is the race that gets him in the winners’ circle for the first time at Parx. Hopefully Laprida can get the job done in the irons.
Race 9
#11 Enough Love ran a huge race at 52/1 in a Handicap race almost a month ago. She dead heated for the win and was gobbling up ground in the rain. The wet surface is exactly what she wants and Wesley Torres is great on deep closers and this horse is exactly that. I think you will get a great price on this horse and this horse will outrun his odds. Should be tough in this spot with the race coming off the turf.
