Parx Spot Plays

Race 3- #1 Anginetti

  • Anginetti got a little tired late down the stretch after taking the lead out of the turn. I think Luis Rivera will get an easier trip from the 1 post and hopefully this horse will be more fit in order to maintain that lead if she gets it today. Haleem Lee is probably the hottest trainer in the past 2 months at Parx and I think his hot streak can continue here.

Race 6- #4 Nautilus

  • Nautilus is coming into this race in very good form and sitting on a winning effort. He is being shipped in from Laurel for Jamie Ness. He prefers dirt I think and the fact that the connections kept this gelding on the dirt today after finishing 2nd on the dirt last time out.

Race 9- #2 Wonder City

  • Wonder City ran a very good 3rd on her turf debut. I think she wants turf and she showed it last time out and I like that the connections kept her on the grass today. This field is pretty wide open and I think she has a legitimate shot to win today. Edwin Rivera sticks with this one and I like that as well.
