Parx Racing 6/7/22

Parx Spot Plays

Race 6: #5 Dancing Kiki

  • I had this horse as a spot play last time out and this horse just didn’t fire. I think this field is a lot more suitable for Dancing Kiki. She should be able to get to the front solely by herself today and I think that is the only thing she wants. If she gets a lone lead she will be tough to catch.

Race 8: #9 Straight Shot

  • I don’t know if Chantal Sutherland is coming into town to ride this horse but I do know, Delgado scratched his other entrant in this field and another horse also scratched leading to straight shot breaking from the 7 hole and not the 9 hole. I think this horse is definitely one of the best in this bunch and should be tough to beat. He has faced tougher in florida before this race.

Race 9: #7 Kid Bourbon

  • Kid Bourbon just missed 2 back at Belmont on the turf and now returns to the grass today. I think Juan Vasquez found out that this horse wants turf and that is why he is back on the grass today. Wolfsont won on a 20/1 shot yesterday on the turf, and I think he can get back to back days of turf wins today.
