Tomorrow I will have full card selections but today’s card wasn’t my favorite.
Race 2: #6 Visual Artist
- Visual Artist is racing today first off the claim for Jamie Ness which is a very profitable angle. This horse was claimed for the first time in 2019 and then didn’t return to the races until 2021. Then he was claimed last time out which was in April of this year and hasn’t run since. However, he has a ton of bullet workouts and returns for OC company which is an amazing sign that he is fit. Ruben Silvera gets the call and Ness is good off layoffs. Should be tough to beat.
Race 5: #3 Li’lbito’charm
- Li’lbito’charm was my top pick the last two times this horse ran and she won both. She returns to two turns and she should love it. She loves stretching out and Dexter knows her better than anyone. I think today she can make it 3 in a row and 4 out of 5.
Race 6: #3 Summertime Sue
- Summertime Sue is a first time starter for Jamie Ness. This 2yo filly has had consistent works and even though Ness isn’t amazing with first time starters or 2yos, this horse has potential and should be tough first time out. Ruben Silvera takes the mount and she is a PA Bred. Should be ready to roll.
