Race 1: #4 Hidden Cache
- Hidden Cache is a nice horse for the maiden ranks. This filly has never been worse than 2nd in her career and always forwardly placed. Barbosa has ridden this one 2 out of the 3 career starts and Barbosa’s two rides were the closest. I think there is other speed in this field but this one is the classiest of the speed. The favorite will have to take to dirt as good as she takes to the turf and I rather take a shot with a horse who has proven ability over this dirt course.
Race 3: #6 Irish Honor
- Irish Honor is in a good spot here. Kendrick Carmouche is coming down to ride this one and this is Kendrick’s only ride. That usually means that Kendrick is confident in his mount. This horse tried really hard for that 2nd place last time out off the layoff. Should be more fit and ready to go today.
Race 10: #1 Halligirl
- Halligirl is in good form right now. Was claimed last time out for Jamie Bravo Estrada whos 14% off the claim. I think this horse is going to improve today and I like that Dexter Haddock is taking the call. I think if she can break clean she will be tough in this race.
