Race 4
#3 Sight Line is an aged veteran and has been running in the low ranks for quite some time now. However, I think this 7yo Gelding still has a win in him and that win is going to come today. This horse has been running at Monmouth the past two starts which the most recent he just had a horrible trip and the change in jockey to Roman Moya showed the connections didn’t have too much faith but the start before that the horse was game and dug in to hold for 3rd. I think the return to Parx and the jockey switch to Ruben Silvera is ideal here. I think if Ruben can get aggressive and have him in a great position, this horse will run a big race.
Race 7
#8 Liar Side Chat should be lone speed today in this off the turf event. This horse needs the lead and a loose lead at that in order to win. This should be the race where he can get that loose lead and go gate to wire. Rosado and Carlos Soto connect at 19% on 47 or so starts which is a very good average and I think this race coming off the turf makes this horse fit perfectly here.
Race 8
#6 Diggers Diamond joins the Penny Pearce barn and is coming off a sharp 5F workout a week ago. Joshua Navarro returned to Parx for the first time in a couple of years after leaving to go back to his native of Puerto Rico to ride and this seems to be his first live mount since returning this week. Navarro used to be a top 5-10 jockey year in and year out before his move back home and his return is going to be oversighted for a little bit until he gets in the swing of things again. I think this horse is the one that gets him to the winners’ circle again at Parx.
