Race 1- 1M CLM7500N2L
Picks- 2-3-6
#2 Spun Run dominated at Penn National last time out and finally broke her maiden. Personally I liked this horse in her last 3 or 4 starts and I am glad she finally got over the hump. Jamie Ness is still on fire and I think this horse can win two in a row.
#3 Pasatime I think will personally be on the lead and if she goes to the lead this race could be over quickly. Rosado on a lone lead is one of the most deadly things at Parx and I mean deadly in a good way. I expect a good effort today.
#6 Dial a Lady I believe is still sitting on a good effort but is finally being put in the right class level. Dexter Haddock gets the call now and I think that is a huge switch. I think today could be the day she wins.
Race 2- 1M OC25K/SAL25K
Picks-5-2-6
#5 Irish Riviera hasn’t run since August. This layoff is unusual for Jamie Ness entrants as he is only 8% off this long of a layoff. However, his workout tab and Ruben Silvera getting the call are both positives I like here.
#2 Alfatei just won last time out and gets a tad more distance after drawing off in that previous race. That was a huge effort for him and I think he could just be in really good form today. I’m expecting a possible repeat effort.
#6 Danzafied is the sleeper in this bunch. I think Dexter Haddock might send this horse to the lead as he has shown early speed before. If he gets a lone lead and gets loose, this horse will be hard to catch.
Race 3- 6F CLM7500N2L
Picks- 5-3-1
#5 Jamie’s Wanderlust is coming into this race 2nd off the layoff after a solid effort first time off the layoff. Lou Linder is on fire right now and I like Luis Ocasio staying with this horse. I fully expect this horse to improve and win this race.
#3 Intervention just missed last time out and got Luis Rivera back who broke this horse’s maiden two back. I think this horse is solid and will be close to the lead early, if she isn’t on it by herself.
#1 Four Seasons Girl will be coming off the pace today and is in the Michael Pino barn for the first time today in a while. This horse started her career in Pino’s barn and now has returned for her 20th start. Hopefully that will lead to a solid effort.
Race 4- 1M CLM7500N3L
Picks- 1-7-5
#1 Passport Required should romp here in my opinion. 3rd off the layoff with two seconds in the first two attempts off the layoff and I think she is just better than this bunch. Amazing connections and early speed ability is all she needs to have to win.
#7 Quiet Please should sit a good trip and if Passport Required is a no show, this horse could be sitting on a solid effort. I would only use this horse underneath along with my third choice.
#5 Taylor’s Belle will be closing today and gets Angel Castillo today. She has faced most of this field many times before and she has competed against them. However, I don’t think today is the day she wins.
