Parx Spot Plays

Race 2: #7 Prince Filip

  • Prince Filip is a very solid horse. I think this horse is in a good spot here and is the deserving favorite. Jeiron Barbosa is shipping in to ride this one as he has the last two times this horse has ran. They won together last time out and I had him as a spot play. I think they can win again today.

Race 5: #6 Broadwaycharlyrose

  • I like Broadwaycharlyrose in her second career start. She showed a ton of ability in her debut but was taken very wide and was slightly green. I think today she will get a better trip and I like that Adorno is staying aboard. The favorite has Paco aboard it and I don’t like horses that close with Paco aboard. This one might trip out here.

Race 10: #3 Uncle Ernie

  • Uncle Ernie chose this race over the stake yesterday and I think this spot is easier. This race is 6F instead of 7F and I think the shorter the better as this horse is nothing but speed. Frankie Pennington has the call to ride and I think if he goes to the front he won’t be caught.
