Parx Spot Plays

Race 3: #6 Mr. Tuttle

  • Mr. Tuttle has proven he can run at this level and doesn’t mind some moisture in the track. Today he can do both once again. Jamie Ness has turned this horse around and I think Adorno staying with this horse throughout its career only helps. Should be a tough favorite today.

Race 6: #9 Cotton Candy Cutie

  • Cotton Candy Cutie likes to sprint and go shorter so this is a good cut back in my opinion. Santaella- Calderon has had a really good last few months and I think the cut back today will put another horse of his in the winners circle. Jorge Gonzalez also gets the call today who can be aggressive early which this horse needs.

Race 10: #9 Same Moon

  • Pino claimed Same Moon last time out for $12,500. Now he drops the horse first off the claim for $7,500 and puts the blinkers on. Pino is looking to win or looking to lose the horse and cut his losses. I think he wants to win because the connections put Ruben Silvera aboard today. Should be tough here on the drop and with the addition of blinkers.
