(7) HELPOFTHESEASON was popular on the Roundtable with solid record and huge rally 9/13. He flew the last 50 yds to just miss there and could get a setup here. (10) KAYLEIGH S won the NYSS final for top connections. She’s won with different trips and needs to overcome post. (1) SEMI FORMAL flew down the middle 9/13 from a tough post. (5) COOL PAPA BELL won the HAMBO at 52/1 with a stellar drive then backed it up with huge NYSS win 9/10 in fast time. His class rules here. (2) PONDA ADVENTURE has won 18 of 20 and hasn’t lost this year. Hard to fault horse that refuses to lose, this will test his class. (3) SWAN CAPTAIN has had a nice year, should grab a share looking for top two to falter. -Mike Pribozie

(2) JUSTMAKINYALOOK is likely just going to sit could pick up a good piece of this late in the mile. She’s fast enough for a share. (4) M-M’S DREAM has been perfect at Hoosier Park, but faces tough test in the choice tonight. The trip she gets could result in her falling out of the exacta. -John Rallis

(7) QUEENS REIGN is coming off consecutive wins in legs 4 and 5 of the ISS, after three runner-up finishes before that. She’s got early speed and can sit a trip to play upsetter here. (3)EARTHWINDFIRE ran second to a very impressive filly in the NYSS Final at Tioga Downs. She retains the services of Tim Tetrick and will be a main player. (10) VIVIANS DREAM is fast and talented, but she draws the second-tier. She can pace for a piece late. -John Rallis

(5) SOARING NOW is really fast and should use that speed to pass by his rivals late in the mile. When he gets clear racetrack, he flies. (7) MAD MAX HANOVER disappointed as the favourite in the PaSS Final at The Meadows in his most recent. I’ll just toss that line as I know he’s good enough to go with these. (6) BIG WHEELER is another one who’s got some serious late speed, which should be good enough for him to secure a share in here. -John Rallis

Race 13 – Harrah’s Hoosier Park Pacing Derby FFA Pace | Purse: $200,000
Perhaps a fool’s errand, but maybe hometown boy (1) CATCH THE FIRE can become the hero and foil the fastest horse ever (2) BULLDOG HANOVER in the event his reservoir does not run as deep. He is the fastest horse, but looked a little hot and had to be called upon more when challenged in the Canadian Pacing Derby, plus now he’s coming in after skipping the Jim Ewart at Scioto. Even if he’s short a nostril, he could still be short. Or he’ll annihilate, such is the gamble. Also (8) THIS IS THE PLAN can find his way into any exotic. Whenever the spotlights come down, (10) BELLA BELLINI is brilliant. Boys, girls, whatever is in her way, she can conquer. Plus with the long stretch at Hoosier and a second-tier spot poising her for an off-the-pace trip, it’s her race to lose. (8) LOVEDBYTHEMASSES does nothing wrong and has only had an unheard about season because of the ranks of Alrajah One IT and Ecurie D DK. But he’s as good as anyone here. (1) CUATRO DE JULIO has always been a freak and has always had talent, but mixing freakish ability with talent often makes you a head case. And boy, this one can be a frustrating horse to back.
