3- ALWAYS POSITIVE- Makes career debut for De Paz in this state bred Sp. Wt. going seven furlongs. Has been working along steadily and this gelding is expected to have some ability, as his stablemate won a state bred Sp. Wt. in his first career start at Aqueduct last month, while defeating a few in here, including one of the likely favorites, FREUDMEIN. Can run a big race at first asking today.

7- MY SWEET SUMMER- Finished a distant 2nd when running into a tigress in a state bred filly Sp. Wt. at Saratoga last summer. Was away for six and a half months following that debut, before returning in an open 3 year old filly 50k maiden claimer going six furlongs at the Fair Grounds, where she pressed outside the pacesetter and resolutely wore her down in a stretch battle to get the win in latest 3/19. Was claimed by Giangiulio out of that race and has been given two months since. Although trainers often don’t fare well claiming off Kenneally, this filly is confidently spotted in this starter allowance for her return and she fits well with this modest field. Should return ready for her new trainer and is a serious threat in here.
1- Carbon, 4- Meraviglioso
2- La Aguililla
2- FIRST MONEY- Although it doesn’t say in the charts, this colt hesitated leaving the gate before he took over in hand during the first furlong and would nearly go on to wire the field at first asking at this Sp. Wt. level going this one mile distance over an off track at Aqueduct in March. Had the blinkers removed for his second start, where he rated off a slow pace and never factored in a Sp. Wt. going 1 1/8 miles last month. Cuts back to one mile for his third career start and has already showed that he is not bothered by a wet track. Should be set for a top race to date and that makes him a danger in the finale.
A- 7- Ocasek, 9- Ride Up
B- 5- Exude, 6- Majestic Michael
