Late Pick 5 Sequence
Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion. To be more judicious with our bankroll in 2026, I will be taking a more targeted approach in Pick 5 selections and include some win bets and doubles when the opportunities arise.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 5 – 1
#5 Diciassette will be one of two runners that we will select to come from off the pace in an attempt to beat the heavy projected favorite. This will be his second race back from a long layoff for trainer Patrick Biancone. #1 Class President looks as if he has the running style to be able to come from off the pace; in his lone career start he was able to set from just off the pace in a small field of five.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 5 – 2
#5 Multiverse has a bad case of second-itois but also has a great running style for routing on the grass. #2 Talbingo is a talented 5 year-old gelding that didn’t fare well in his last attempt but that was at a higher class level.
Race 10 SELECTIONS: 8 – 1
#8 Imperatrice is a well bred filly, daughter of sire City of Light who broke her maiden last time for trainer Todd Pletcher. #1 Music Burst has proven her tenacity at 6Furlongs and will look to take it just a little further. She wont be a post time favorite but we need to find value in these middle of the sequence races.
Race 11 SELECTIONS: 1 – 3
#1 One Sweet Girl is stepping up in class but has won her last three races. #3 Brat Pack is also attempting to step up her game, as she broke her maiden last time out; trainer Graham Motion’s barn is doing well this meet.
Race 12 SELECTIONS: 5
#5 Cannoneer is the most likely winner of today’s feature and wont be a price but will he is who we will take a stand with.
Today’s pick 5 ticket $1 base (post scratches) : 1,5 / 2,5 / 1,8 / 1,3 / 5 cost: $16
