Race selections provided are in the mindset of playing the Pick 5 sequence as a whole; runners are placed in the order of most likely winner, in my humble opinion.
Race 6 SELECTIONS: 9 – 1
#9 Hollywood Mayhem switches to a high percentage jockey trainer combination and also drops in class after showing early speed on debut. #1 Thunder Cane is a first time starter with solid connections whose morning works don’t look too shabby.
Race 7 SELECTIONS: 7 – 5 – 4
# 7 City of Oscars will be making his first start after being gelded. He broke is maiden last time out with a strong late running style that should translate well to him being able to handle the added distance. #5 Mythical Man returns to the track after breaking his maiden and a two months layoff for trainer Danny Gargan; adds blinkers. #4 Zealous Moon gets class relief after not getting a good start and facing winners for the first time last time out.
Race 8 SELECTIONS: 3 – 7
#3 One More Duke has good early speed but has yet to maintain it; drops in class and his recent workout suggest that he is ready to give it another strong shot. #7 Ayman is a first time starter whose Dam has produced five winners from five starters.
Race 9 SELECTIONS: 1 – 2 – 6
# 1 Pocket Pair showed lots of improvement last time out at Woodbine. Her prior three starts to that race were all sprints. Today she will run a longer distance once again, we are hoping for continuous improvement and a similar outcome. #2 Miss Mary Nell is a versatile daughter of Girvin who is also dropping in class after trying the turf where she was simply outrun; gets blinkers. #6 Mi Triguena ran okay last time out but that was against tougher; retains the services of jockey Leonel Reyes.
Race 10 SELECTIONS: 7 – 1 – 4
#7 Maldini finished a respectable second on debut despite running into trouble at the start and being five wide. #1 Blameitonthestones is a son of Blame(who produces good turf runners) and will be running second off the layoff for trainer Jena Antonucci. In this colts first two starts he ran evenly throughout and should get a good trip from the inside post draw. #4 Change At Jamaica is a well bred gelding making his first start for solid connections.
