  • Dallas Baker,

I signed up for Monmouth Bets.Com on Friday 10/9. I know you have been promoting Fixed Odds Wagering at MP with Samantha Perry. I received my $50.00 sign up bonus and used it this past weekend at racing from Meadowlands at MP.

I placed a $4.00 win bet at 11:00am in the morning based on the opening line and locked it in at 3.10. There were some scratches before post time in the race. My horse won, but my bet was adjusted by Monmouth Bets from 3.10 to 2.232 to reflect the scratches and changes in the line. Next time your on the air Dallas please mention this so its not a surprise to the horse racing fan. The odds you bet isn’t what you get. Why do I get penalized if I was savvy to lock in that bet before the scratches. Your thoughts.

    • I’ll forward this to Dallas. We have discussed the idea before that scratches necessitate an adjustment in the price. For the odds to stay the same, the composition of the field has to stay the same. Sorry about the confusion.
