Nick Luck Daily Ep 324 – Should Kempton jockey switch have been allowed?

Nick is joined by broadcaster Cornelius Lysaght to discuss the latest news from around the racing world. Continuing the build-up to this weekend’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Nick has news of the draw for the race, the significant withdrawal of Teona on account of the continued rainfall, and catches up with Julia Romich, assistant trainer to Marcel Weiss, responsible for the sole German representative Torquator Tasso. Nick and Cornelius canter through news on the home front, taking in the news of Reach for the Moon’s abrupt end to the campaign, Ascot’s recently released financials, and leading with whether yesterday’s controversial jockey switch at Kempton might prompt a change to the existing rules. Later in the show, Nick talks to syndicate manager Nick Bradley, who has three live chances in Group One races this weekend at Newmarket and Longchamp, while JA McGrath brings his weekly update from Hong Kong.
