#2 Call Dish: This Filly had a very nice four year old debut just missing at the 30K level. She ran her fastest dirt Beyer of her career and now takes a small drop-in class and stretches out to a mile. For sprinters stretching out, I love them stalking the pace in their sprints compared to just Being on the lead.
#4 General Trev: I love the first four starts to the career for this son of Constitution as he has never missed an exacta and goes 2nd time out for a barn that hasn’t done too well at the meet so far, but after that last race in a starter 30K where he ran second, the winner came right back to win. I feel this is the best horse to start at in this race.
#2 Lulumaru: Closest horse to a single for my second time out for the Diodoro barn. She hasn’t missed the board in her last nine starts. My only grievance is she won on the west coast. Can she get a win now in the midwest?
#11 Divine Choice: weakest opinion in the sequence for me and the reason I’m three deep. Pretty easy thought process Santana and Asmussen for connections, and she did improve enough over the first two starts for me.
